Iguazu National Park PDF Print E-mail

This is a tour of some 20km along the Yacarati trail, within the reserve of the Iguazú National Park. Along that same trail, which is closed to the traffic of private vehicles, researchers are doing various studies, such as the “Project Carnivores”, and observations on primates.

This excursion, lasting roughly two hours, is done in specially adapted open-top vehicles, to facilitate photography and filming. This is quite important, as in the jungle the highest tree tops are hosts to singular life forms: epiphytes such as orchids, cacti and bromeliads, “strangulating” trees, as well as a great variety of birds and mammals with exclusive arboreal habits, such as squirrels and monkeys.
During the outing there will be occasional stops and short walks, with our interpreting guide acting as the link between our visitors and the surroundings

There will also be visits to historical places within the Iguazú National Park.
These are regular daily trips, departing at 10:30 am and 04:00 pm, either from the Iguazu Falls Visitors' Centre, or from the Hotel Sheraton International Iguazú. Special departures on request.
